Dragon Simulator (updated)
Version 1.6 of dragon simulator is here!
What can you do with this version?
You can pick dragon, select level, generate combination, select gems, and drinks!
How to use:
1. Download the file here.
2. Open the file in MS Excel. (This was made in MS Excel 2013 but I think it will work just right in other versions). Don't forget to enable content to open features.
3. All of the cells in red font are drop down lists. When you select a cell, it will automatically display the drop-down button (the grey with inverted triangle). Press that and choose what you need.
4. The final stats are the ones that will appear at the bottom.
Changelog:
- Added recommended combinations. Just pick the element of the first dragon and it will show recommended combinations.
Limitations:
1. All stats are based on 7.0 grade dragon only.
2. Drinks are limited to level 3 potions only. Basic buff drink not included.
3. Items not factored in. They are difficult to make because of the randomness of -options-.
If there is any problem, just comment below and I will try to fix it.
Happy simulating!

Grade Explained and How to Train your Dragons
You are in the dragon village...and you are not just a simple villager. You are given the task to save Yutakan, Metal Tower and Elysium. You have finished the story quite easily and you are met by reality -- the next step is to battle other players and join a guild...and you keep on getting rejected. You ask yourself why?
To cut the story short, your dragons suck. S-U-C-K. They all suck. Because they suck, you suck too. You fail as a dragon tamer.
I know you know that because you have a losing streak in colosseum. You merely scratch Balrog. That's bad isn't it? Considering you were playing not just for days, but months and maybe, year.
Worry not, I'm here to help. But first, the basics.
Rating Explained (skip this if you don't like maths)
To avoid confusion, let me tell you what grade is. It is also referred to as rating. It is not to be mistaken with stars which refer to "rarity." (Note: Stars affect the base stats of a dragon. Dragons with higher stars are stronger than lower stars.) Grade refers more to "power." In the picture below, that is the 0.0 and 7.5. The perfect grade is 7.0 but could go up by upgrading eggs and when leveling up with max plus. The highest I have seen is 8.5. Note: Blessed nest and guild buff (on hatch grade) does not guarantee 7.0 hatch grade.
Difference -- The image above perfectly shows the difference between a dragon with low grade and a dragon with high grade. The table below shows the different stats/abilities of Valefor on different grades. A perfect grade (7.0) has a world difference against a 0.0 grade: HP is 91 points higher, ATK is 55 points higher, and DEF is 42 points higher. That is a really BIG difference.
I would also note that basic abilities affect buff effect of items. Look at the effect of buff in the image above. for atk it is 90 on 0.0 grade and 96 on 7.5 grade. That is because buffs depend on BASIC stats.
| ABILITY | GRADE | ||
|---|---|---|---|
| 0.0 | 7.0 | 7.5 | |
| HP | 577 | 768 | 770 |
| ATK | 168 | 223 | 224 |
| DEF | 132 | 174 | 177 |
So, the real question is how to raise a dragon with perfect grade?
1. Buy blessed nest: One of the items you need to get as soon as possible. ASAP because it costs 300 diamonds. This doesn't add another cave slot. Instead, it converts all your nests to blessed nests. Effect? Increases your hatch grade by 0.6. Verdict: Must have. (The golden stuff in the pictures below is the blessed nest.
2. Upgrade your egg: Having blessed nest does not guarantee a hatch grade of 7.0. You can get 7.0 but it is very rare. So, upgrade your egg. Go to laboratory, choose upgrade egg. You need to have normal spirit stone, normal stone heart, crystals and gold to upgrade egg. Blessed nest + +1 upgrade almost guarantees perfect hatch grade. Verdict. Great! (The +1 beside the name means the dragon egg was upgraded.)
3. Always aim for triple max: Use level downs when you don't get triple max. That's basic. Verdict: Basic.
4. Use diamonds when necessary: If you don't know what diamond reset is, you have been playing ignorantly. When your dragon does not get triple max, you can just press reset to reset stats.
Warning: The only thing good about diamond reset is you don't have to explore an area again to level up. It also has opportunity to give you purple max or max plus which raises the dragon's grade. This is really really costly though and does not guarantee you anything. Verdict: Use with caution.
5. Use dragon's, maia's, dersa's and amorrus blessing. Contrary to popular belief (also known as item description), these items can give you triple max. Other players prefer to sell them, but I say, why not use them? Verdict: Sell them if you're desperate for gold.
6. Raise your dragon when it matches the element of the Tower of Light. This is the best tip I have come across. When your element in the tower of light is on, you will need less diamonds to get triple max or better yet get triple max plus. Caution must be taken though as you need the time on your phone to be set in Korean time otherwise the Tower of Light will show the wrong element color. It happens to me but I don't know if it is applicable to you.
What do you say? None of this, of course, are sure way to raise perfect grade dragons. But better than being clueless right?
Some clarification: Based on experience, the maximum grade that can be achieved without amorrus blessing is 7.5-7.6. That means, once you upgrade an egg and hatched it 7.5, basically, you just have to maintain its grade to level 47, then use amorrus at level 48-50. Also, Amorrus blessing can only be used 3x on a dragon.
Element Combinations
An important thing you should know about team battles is that when you match the right elements of dragons, they will form a buff that will make them stronger. It works in colosseum, expedition and dungeons.

Your own hybrid (or senz) gem
Hybrid gems are very very useful...I mean it. With hybrid gems, you can take your dragon to another level. But how do you make them? How much would it cost?
I already made lots of info on this on our fb guild page but they are scattered so I decided to put them here.
I am still trying to find out how much it would cost to make a hybrid gem. Stay tuned for that :)
Good luck making your hybrid!
Gem Alchemy section of Magic Shop
a. Gem Alchemy is where you can upgrade your hybrid gem.
b. Gem Manufacture is where you can create your hybrid gem. You need 200 magic sand each color to make 1 hybrid gem.
c. Gem Disassemble is where you can disassemble basic gems to get magic sand.
d. Potion Production is where you can buy potions for gem alchemy. It costs 1,000 gold each to make and some magic sand.
e. Potion Store is where you can buy the Senz tear to increase your chance of getting Senz gem. It is also where you can buy solution that increases "success rate" instead of alchemy rate. Note: You don't need senz tear to make a senz gem. You just need to be lucky.
Here is a senz created.
What is the cost of upgrading hybrid gem? In all, 235,800 gold if you do not fail.

Where to get diamonds (Espada edition)
So you probably saw the blog of the guild of branas and he has this in their blog. We have our own, okay? So stop looking at other guild's page.
Unlike in DV1, diamonds are easy to get in DV2. Very easy but it requires effort. E-F-F-O-R-T. Only lazy players are broke.
So here are the means to get diamonds, tell me if I miss anything.
On a Daily Basis
1. Open Daily Chest reward. You will get 1-3 diamonds per day from it plus some gold and other stuff.
2. Daily Attendance reward. Open daily chest reward every day. You will get from 5-20. In a month, you can earn 100 diamonds just by doing this.
3. Complete Elpis Village Quests. After you finish the game's story, the village quests will be available. There are 6 quests that you can complete -- each gives 1-2 diamond plus random reward (nothing fancy, level down, gem slot reset, tournament ticket, ancient portal, etc). If you complete the 6 quests, you will get a chance to get some cool stuff. The best I got was 3 dragon's blessing.
Note: Quest can be done in any order but you need to finish a quest before you can move on to the other or by giving up. You cannot try the same quest again when you give up. Quests reset at the end of the day.
4. Daily Mission - Colosseum. Just by battling 10 times a day in the colosseum in PVP 1v1 or 3v3, you can earn 5 diamonds. Note: Battle with doppleganger, battle in daily match and battle in tournament does not count.
5. Water Fountain (rare). It's the water fountain in the village! Touch that and you can get 1 diamond or gold. Touch the other boxes in the village and get gold. Easy diamond, easy gold.
6. DV2 website (rare). This requires a bit of effort. Log-in to the DV2 website, log-in with your DV2 account, touch the diamond and voila, you get gold or 1-2 diamonds. Make sure you use google translate to get your way around. Too troublesome if you ask me.
7. Watch video. Right after you open the daily chest, you will be asked by the game if you want to watch a video. If you're on wi-fi, just agree. If not, ignore. Nobody wants extra mobile internet charge. Update: Watching videos used to give 1 diamond, but now they made it two. So much free diamonds, right?
8. Guild Expedition (rare). Playing guild expedition earns you some loots. One of them is diamond. You have to pick it from 3 chests so it is based on luck. Well, it's free. Rewards are given 1 hour after the expedition ends.
On a Weekly Basis
10. Imp Pong of the Night Mode (ranked). Look who's here! You just found Pong! Alright, the night Yutakan is more than just super strong bosses that drops super items and gold. If you encounter imp and collect their stones (whatever you call that), hey, you are being ranked! The more you collect within the week, the higher the rank you have, the more diamonds you can get! Rewards are given on Mondays, 12:00 NN (Korean time).
11. Colosseum (ranked). Of course, the colosseum! After battling 10 times a day to get diamonds, you get the chance to earn more -- weekly. Colosseum are ranked and the higher your rank is, the better diamond reward you get.
On a Monthly Basis
12. Rank Scramble (ranked). One of my favorites, the rank scramble. Not many know what rank scramble offers. Diamonds and the 6 guardian eggs of Leona. There are 4 ranks: master, platinum, gold and silver. Just land wherever you want and you get tons of diamonds. Who doesn't want that? Silver gives 100 diamonds and Gold gives 200.
Events
13. Participate in world raids (ranked). Participate in the world raid during Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. You can get diamonds from it just by landing at least rank 500.
14. Participate in raids (rare). By participating in the raids, you can get some extra diamonds. It's rare though.
There are other means to get diamonds. We have dragon ascension, collection mission, mission completion, skeletal fortress, special events. But so far, the ones I listed are the best means to obtain them. Good luck!
